How custom tile is made here…
If your design/ image is fine detail like 1800's buildings and street scenes, we’ll be working with the 6x6” size. Examples are found in our Destination tile series.
If it's simple, like a logo, city skyline in silhouette, or restful with a sunset on beach, a 4x4” tile can work for those. Need a certain shape? Contact us, we’re sculptors.
The sculpting fee and mold fee is included in our quote.
Lead time is under 3 months. Plan ahead! Our sculpting schedule fills quickly for the year.
The design process goes like this:
We offer free consultations via phone or email. Your ideas and our research make for good design.
First, we'll need to know what you want on your tile, then we can come up with a tile size/shape and a composition for you.
Next, we'll work from photos of the images online, or you can send us some you like. Some of our tiles have decorative framing inside the picture plane as you can see from our Destination tiles. If you like the framing detail, and you're ordering the 6x6 size, we can sculpt that into your tile (just tell us which city tile's frame you like), or no decoration, only the plain frame.
Lettering is optional. If you'd like the city name and/ or state on the tile let us know.
Finally, we'll send a sketch for your approval asap. Isn’t that easy?
Minimum orders apply. Normally we work with customers that place orders of 30 tiles.
Need just one tile made? Sculpting time is 36 hours and the fee is $1,800. Your tile will be one of a kind, exclusive to you.
From design approval our turnaround time is usually about 12 weeks.

The second tile in Alice’s commemorative tile series, the tile was inspired by the brave women who signed their name to a petition to the English against taxation without representation. Differing from the boston tea party, the women plainly stood recognized.
